This was our Raja Ampat experience Throwback to a “how a tropical version of heaven would look like” experience with @sailtigerblue at one of the most epic (and I really mean epic) dive sites in the world. For a week, we hiked incredible landscapes and wildlife. I think. It’s where I first experienced huge Mantas casting shadows above our heads, swimming with thousands of harmless jelly fish, epic amounts of Mee Goreng Indonesia in West Papua. Malaysian artist Red Hong Yi spent two weeks creating an image that is part sculpture, part performance art. She and her six-person team constructed a 7.5 x 10-foot world map out of 50,000 green-tipped matchsticks. She then set the artwork on fire—representing how the global climate crisis touches all of us, no matter where we live.
